Whilst not being an avid reader the one thing I do know about myself is that once I am captivated by a book, I will devour it, without having to put it down.
New Windows of Opportunity is one book that I just wanted to read on and on and never finish.
I was enthralled by the storyline and characters. The lessons we learn in life’s journey, the friendships, spiritual growth, education, opportunities that come our way and our personal failures, all play a part in moulding us to be the person we are today.
I was able to reflect and draw parallels in my own life with those in the book, which made it all the more compelling reading.
I kept asking the question “What if ...?” What if I had pursued my sporting ambition? What if I had applied myself more to my education? What if I had stayed in my chosen profession?
